Top Ten Vacations For Fun And Relaxation

We all have our own idea of the ideal vacation. Whether you want to lay around on a beach or walk through an ancient city you can choose from the top ten vacations and find something to make everyone in your group happy. You can visit museums, have fun at theme parks or hike the mountains. You just need to decide where you want to go and how much you want to spend on your perfect holiday away.

St. Lucia, located in the Caribbean Islands, offers golf courses, rain forests and beaches. Tourism is usually busy during the dry season between January and April. Most people visit St. Lucia as part of a cruise. The island was settled by the French and developed for the cultivation of sugar cane. The Caribbean Sea is on one side of the island and the Atlantic Ocean is on the other.

Hawaii has so many beaches that it's hard to choose which one you want to visit. They all have their own character, some are romantic and others are great for surfing. Waikiki Beach is one of the most popular on Oahu. Lahaina is popular on Maui and Honaunau Bay is on the Big island. Poipu is a popular resort and beach area on Kauai. The fragrance of the flowers in the air relax you as the beauty that surrounds you intoxicates your senses. Every island is distinct.

If you want to visit the mountains then head for the Rockies. With world famous skiing, hiking, whitewater rafting and historical adventures Colorado has a lot to offer the outdoorsy types. The Royal Gorge Bridge is the world's highest suspension bridge with an aerial tram, incline railway and an entertainment park for the children.

Nothing says fun for the family like Disney World. After a day of riding all the fun rides you can watch the electric parade in the evenings. There are boat rides to relax and cool off on when you are tired from walking and plenty of great restaurants to enjoy. Epcot center is always a treat for the entire family.

If you prefer a trip to the city there is no better one to choose than New York City. With over 2 million works of art from around the world the Museum of Modern Art is well worth the visit. Central Park offers an escape from the busy city streets. Ellis Island Immigration Museum offers a look at the paths that many took entering America for a new beginning.

Tuscany evokes images of countryside, good food and relaxation. An ancient country, Italy is home to some of the world's most famous designers. Michelangelo quarried his marble in Tuscany. The Etruscans lived there centuries ago. And the wine is the best in the world. Some of the most beautiful sports cars are made there. Tuscany is a rich region full of culture and beauty.
